Juliet Harbottle left IBM in July 2005 after six years. Initially joining as EMEA communications manager for RS/6000, Juliet oversaw the transition to eServer, and later added supercomputers, Grid and Linux to her role before taking six months' maternity leave.
Following four action packed years at international level, Juliet joined IBM's UK corporate team as communications consultant to the Human Resources Director, where she managed many sensitive internal and external communications spanning topics including diversity, flexible working as well as general employee and management communications.
Previously, at global agency Edelman Public Relations Juliet managed Time Warner's introduction of Digital Video Disk (DVD) into Europe, Texas Instrument's DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) launch and corporate programme, and the UK launch of Thomson including its state-of-the-art plasma screens and Philippe Starke designed televisions.
Prior to Edelman, at Text 100, Juliet was a manager on the Microsoft account responsible for consumer products including game titles. She joined Text 100 from JVC/LucasArts where, as European Marketing Manager, she was responsible for the super-cool Star Wars video games on the Nintendo platform. Juliet holds a DipM from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
In her spare time Juliet can be found pursuing a variety of country activities with her young son; and looks especially fetching in her green wellies.
