Use the steps below to obtain proof of renewal for a lender through EOI Direct.
How to Obtain Proof of Renewal for a Lender
- Go to www.EOIDirect.com and click Get Started.
- Under Homeowners & Property Managers, click Register Now.
- Register with your first name, last name, email address, and password. Under I am A, select homeowner or property manager.
- Check your email for the confirmation message. It may take up to 10 minutes to arrive.
- Complete the homeowner or home buyer registration details, then save and continue.
- Review the user service agreement, accept the terms, and continue.
- After registration, continue to the log-in screen and sign in under Existing Users.
- From the control center, click Evidence of Insurance to order a certificate of insurance.
- Enter the homeowners association name and state. You will need the association’s legal name.
- Select the matching association and confirm.
- For the reason, select: I have received a letter from my lender requesting an annual update of my insurance policy.
- Enter the borrower’s last name and loan number to locate the account. If the lender is not found, you can enter the information manually.
- Complete any additional owner and lender information requested and continue.
- Select your preferred delivery method. Email and fax options are free of charge.
If you want the certificate sent directly to your lender, enter the lender’s fax number. You can also have a copy sent to your own email or fax number for your records.
